Thank you for sharing your mother, Mrs. Harriett Pickett, with all of the North Lowe Street Children. We knew where to find comfort, friendship, and good food when we needed them. Mrs. Pickett never turned us away even though we could go home to eat with our families. God bless and keep you all. May you continue her legacy and publish that cookbook in her memory.
