Willie Ray Reed

Willie Ray Reed was born September 9, 1964 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Della and L.C. Reed. He was the youngest of eight children. He departed this earthly life on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

He accepted Christ at a very early age.

He attended Stuttgart Public Schools, graduating with the Class of 1983.

On September 21, 1985, Willie married his high school sweetheart Annette Griffin with whom he bore two children.

Willie enjoyed fishing, watching sports, and attending his children’s sporting events. He was the life of any party and a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents Della and L.C. Reed, sisters Ruby Sanders, Phyllis Reed and Flora Jones, and brother Lee Reed.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories: his children Denise (Roderick) Higgins of Stuttgart, AR, LaRhonda Davis of Little, AR, Kawonna Reed, Leshawn Reed, Anaya Reed and Jaylia Reed, all of Hot Springs, AR; three sisters Brenda Miller, Linda (Tim) Batemon, and Evelyn Jeffrey, all of Stuttgart, AR; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones. He also leaves a special friend Jeremy Burns.
