Mr. Willie Johnson, Sr. was born in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the parentage of the late Floyd Johnson and Elnora Colvin Johnson.
He attended Holman High School. Willie enjoyed playing softball and baseball.
In 1962 he married Annette Offord, and to this union six children were born. He later married Marvel Williams and fathered her two children.
Willie worked for the City of Stuttgart in the sanitation department for many years until his health failed.
He was proceeded in death by: his parents; wife Annette; one son Andre Johnson; one daughter Arnetta Williams; one brother Reverend Eddie Johnson; four sisters: Lettie Wolf, Earnestine Johnson, Stella Colvin, and Barbara Ann Taylor.
Willie transitioned from this life on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Baptist Hospital Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He leaves to cherish his memories: four daughters: Linda Johnson, Eyvonne Johnson, Charlene Johnson, and Pearl Johnson; five sons: Willie Johnson Jr., Ronnie (Tracy) Johnson, Jeffery (Toinette) Johnson, Derrick Johnson, and James Williams; four brothers: Van (Cherion) Johnson, Napoleon Johnson, Paul Colvin, and Donald Ray Colvin; sister-in-law Eleanor Johnson; two brother in-laws Roy Wolf and Donald Ray Taylor; a special cousin Betty Crompton; sixteen grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins; and a special friend and caregiver Shelia Levine.
