Virginia Sue King Wilson-Nedoroscik, a woman whose heart was as wide as the Arkansas Delta, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Friday, February 20, 2026, while surrounded by family and loved ones.
She is proceeded in death by her mother Glenna Sue King, father Elonzo Logan King, and 3 brothers, Jeff, Steve, and John David King. While she was born April 24, 1966, in Stuttgart, and spent her childhood there. Virginia considered Humphrey to be her "hometown" as that is where God planted her roots for most of her adult life. It was there that she turned the simple act of "neighboring" into a lifelong calling.
Virginia was a woman of tireless work and even deeper devotion. While she was a cleaning lady by trade, those who knew her understood she was truly a caretaker of souls. Whether she was maintaining the local elementary school or tending to the homes of the elderly, Virginia didn't just scrub floors; she fed birds, tended gardens, and looked after the cats and dogs of the neighborhood. She didn't merely work for people—she made life-long friends, and cleaning was simply her way of looking after them. Her love for "junking" was legendary, though her search for a deal was rarely for herself. Virginia was a provider by nature, always hunting for the specific thing that someone else might need. To her, a found treasure was a way to say "I love you" when words weren't enough. This paired with her love for crafting has left imprints of Virginia throughout the homes of all who knew her.
While Virginia birthed two children of her own, her family tree grew far beyond biological lines. Guided by a strong belief that "STEPS" are only things that lead inside a home, she claimed many more bonus children through pure, unconditional love.
She leaves behind her husband of what would have been 24 years this coming March 21st, Paul David Nedoroscik of Humphrey, AR. She also leaves big hole in the heart of her daughter Stephanie (Chris) Potter of Humphrey, AR, her son David "Wade" Wilson (Ashley) of Cedar Park, TX, her grand children Paxton, Peighton, and Preslee Potter and newly added Glenna and Raymond King, a very special nephew John David King II, one brother Elonzo Logan King II, many other nieces and nephews, and a vast blended and beautiful family who all knew the warmth of her kitchen and the strength of her hands. She also took with her a piece of the hearts of each of her loved ones and her church family, which reminded her once again what it was like to have a family you can count on no matter what. Later in life, Virginia found a deep sense of peace and purpose at Humphrey Baptist Church. She loved devoting her time to God, wether it was working on the church bulletin, wishing someone happy birthday, cooking for the elderly and the sick, or simply stopping anytime, anywhere, to pray for anyone. She found pure joy in the fellowship and the opportunity to serve others and she firmly believed that the way to anyones heart was through their stomach. You could feel every once of love poured into each bite you took. She never missed an opportunity to talk about Jesus, especially throughout her cancer journey, praising Him and planting seeds to grow his kingdom up until her final days.
