Tony J. Brooks was born August 28, 1986 to Tony Jackson and the late Bessie Lee Brooks in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age. He attended Stuttgart High School. Tony was an avid football player and wore his #72 jersey proudly as a Stuttgart Ricebird. He had a love for not only wearing a variety of sport jerseys, but also a love for cars, including repairing them. Tony’s favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. He lived life to the fullest. He was a caring, friendly man.
He departed this life on June 17, 2021 in Russellville, Arkansas. Tony was preceded in death by his mother Bessie Brooks, one brother Sylvester McPherson, Jr., and his grandparents.
Tony leaves to cherish his loving memory his father Tony (Pearl) Jackson of DeWitt, AR; two sisters Marijas (Jacent) Winston of North Little Rock, AR and Cassandra Cline of Stuttgart, AR; aunts Marie Davis and Bertha Wyatt, both of North Little Rock, AR, Clara (Arnold) Williams of Little Rock, AR, and Linda Jackson of Houston, TX; other aunts and uncles; a loving cousin Izella Flournoy of Stuttgart, AR; a very close cousin Samuel Sims of Russellville, AR; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; and his special friends in Russellville, AR.
