Sherry Ann (Bradford) Hobbs

Sherry Ann Bradford Hobbs was born on July 11, 1956, in DeWitt, Arkansas, to the late Caesar Bradford, Jr. and Lois Lillian (Butler) Bradford. She accepted God as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ in DeWitt, Arkansas.

Sherry Ann received an early education in the DeWitt Public School System and later earned her GED credential at Rice Belt Vocational-Technical Institute. She was employed by several local businesses including L.A. Black, DeWitt City Hospital, Belleville Shoe Company, Piggly Wiggly Grocery, and Conoco 1 Stop.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jerry D. Bradford and Charles E. Bradford; sister, Deloise Young; grandchildren, Michael Bradford, Justin Hobbs-Watkins, and Taylor Bradford; great-grandchild, Malique Scales, Jr.; and faithful companion, Napoleon “Red” Ticey, Sr.

Sherry Ann departed this life on June 6, 2026, at her home in DeWitt, Arkansas.

Left to cherish her memory, love, and legacy are two daughters, Brandi Bradford and Kira Hobbs, both of DeWitt, Arkansas; one son, Heath (Jennifer) Ticey of Jacksonville, Arkansas; one sister, Theora “Duck” Bradford of DeWitt, Arkansas; two brothers, Cesar “Buddy” (Danita) Bradford of Detroit, Michigan, and Roger Bradford of Tucker, Arkansas; one aunt, Euradale Butler of Pinole, California; four grandchildren, Tyran Banks, Tania Bradford, Ka’Briana Turner, and Kameron Hobbs-Watkins; seven great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
