Ruby J. Browley was born July 20, 1940 to the late James Dabner, Sr. and Gracie Bradley Dabner in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She was one of twelve children.
She accepted Christ at an early age at Allen Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Stuttgart.
Ruby was united in holy matrimony to Clint Browley, Sr., and they parented six children.
She was known in the community for her cooking. In her spare time, Ruby loved fishing. In addition, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her precious grandchildren.
Ruby departed this life on Monday, September 18, 2023 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Gracie Dabner, Sr., husband Clint Browley, Sr., son Donald Ray Smith, and siblings Mary Dabner, Martha Dabner, Leola Dabner Jackson, Sercie Dabner Smith, Virginia Holt, and James Dabner, Jr.
Ruby leaves to cherish her memories her five children Brenda (Wendell) Smith of Ohama, NE, Alice (Eddie) Bell of Stuttgart, AR, Clint (Judy) Browley, Jr. of Altheimer, AR, Joyce (Pastor Stanley) Gaddy of Pine Bluff, AR, and Vickie (Jeffery) Williams of Altheimer, AR; twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; two brothers Eddie (Mary) Dabner of Stuttgart, AR and Henry (Gloria) Dabner, Sr. of Casscoe, AR; three sisters Marva Joe Dabner and Marblelene Alexander, both of Stuttgart, AR and Bular Taylor of Little Rock, AR; special friends Patricia Stewart of Jacksonville, AR, Terry Davis of Stuttgart, AR, and Phyllis Hill of Little Rock, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
