Roosevelt Colvin was born on October 14, 1952, in Stuttgart, Arkansas. He departed this life on January 5, 2026, in the comfort of his own home.
Roosevelt was employed by Producers Rice Mill for over 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to music, and dancing. Known as the life of the party, Roosevelt brought joy and laughter wherever he went.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnestine Colvin and Roosevelt Colvin, Sr., and two brothers Joe Rufus Kelly and Calvin Colvin.
Roosevelt leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Yvette Colvin of Stuttgart, Arkansas, with whom he shared over 20 years together; three daughters Anna (Dennis) Oketunbi of Texas, Eugonda (Henry) Scott of Stuttgart, Arkansas, and Monique Lagoye of Little Rock, Arkansas; one son Henri Lagoye of Houston, Texas; two sisters Glenda Colvin of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Linda Colvin of Jacksonville, Arkansas; three brothers Amos (Shirley) Johnson of Little Rock, Arkansas, Freddie Colvin of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Lenard Colvin of Norfolk, Virginia; nine grandchildren Mannie O., Dailakeisha S., Chareyelle B., Ka’Meya B., Qua’Deja S., Matthew S., Demontrae S., LaDainian O., and DeAudrick O.; two great-grandchildren Makynlei S. and Nakiah J; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
