“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:7
Ronnie James Coleman, Jr. was born September 23, 1968, in Turner, Arkansas to the late Ronnie, Sr. and Jenette Coleman. He departed this life on March 21, 2026 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Stuttgart, Arkansas. Ronnie dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Holly Grove, Arkansas. He later joined Turning Point Harvest Center in Stuttgart, under the leadership of Pastors Sherman and Felicia Edmond.
Ronnie was a 1988 graduate of Marvell High School (Home of The Mighty Mustangs). “Coleman,” as many people called him, held down many different jobs, from being on the road driving trucks to being a factory worker at Riceland Foods, Lennox, and Producers Rice Mill.
He had a passion for yard work, and once he was finished, the results often left others saying “WOW!!!” He was known by many as a hardworking man who cared deeply for his family and friends.
In 2023 Ronnie met the love of his life, Erica. They got married the following year on January 27, 2024. When he wasn’t working, Coleman enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He couldn’t ever remember their real names, so he gave them all nicknames. When Ronnie called, they came running and laughing, “Paw Paw.”
He was preceded in death by his parents Ronnie Coleman, Sr. and Jenette Coleman; sister Vera Williams; and granddaughter Zayleigh “cutie patootie” Burnett.
Ronnie leaves to cherish his memories his loving and caring wife, Erica Coleman of Stuttgart, AR; two sons Xavier Johnson of Lexa, AR and Ty Coleman of Little Rock, AR; four daughters Consuela London of North Little Rock, AR, Jakayla London of Stuttgart, AR, Shaquala London (Casey) of Pine Bluff, AR, and Madyson Shelton of Stuttgart, AR; four granddaughters Za’Niya London, Zendaya “Tina Turner” Burnett, Za’Riyah “Lite Brite” Burnett, and Jaylani “Tink Tink” London; one and only grandson Ke’Lijah Hudson; two sisters Angela Robinson of Stuttgart, AR and Tracy Hubbard (Victor) of Turner, AR; two brothers Dennis Coleman and Dewayne Coleman (Latasha), both of Turner, AR; one special aunt Edith Miller of Little Rock, AR who he held very close to his heart; his beloved mother-in-law Delma Alexander of Stuttgart, AR; one special nephew La’Damion Hubbard of Marvell, AR; one special cousin Margaret Fraizer of Little Rock, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
The memories of Ronnie will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
