Robert Louis Johnson was born July 30, 1939 to Richard and Jennie Johnson in DeWitt, Arkansas. He departed this life on Monday, December 28, 2020 in the comfort of his home.
Robert attended the Immanuel School in Almyra, Arkansas.
Commonly known as “Blue”, he worked in the industrial community of Stuttgart at Riceland, Producers, and Stratton Seeds for many, many years until his health and age led him to retire. Blue loved people and never met a stranger. He loved to laugh, talk, and just joke around while cruisin’ in his electric chair. He loved his family; he made his rounds every day to check on everybody. If you had an encounter with him, it was one to remember.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Jennie Johnson; six sisters LeeDella Berry, MeaLee Trimble, Mary Jean Nichols, Velma Randall, Jenell Caldwell, and Blanchie Jeffery; and four brothers Wilbert Johnson, LB Johnson, Perlis Johnson, and John Johnson.
Blue leaves to cherish his loving memories his caretakers Barbara and Thomas Hobbs and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
