Presley A. Oates

Mr. Presley Al Oates went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 29, 2020.  He was born February 5, 1938 to the late Leroy Oates and Elfreda Montgomery Oates in Casscoe, Arkansas.  His Parents, Leroy Oates and Elfreda Montgomery Oates, two Brothers August Oates and Titus Oates and three Sisters Maggie Smith, Barbara Kay Jones, and Edith Lavern Smith preceded him in death.

He began farming at an early age on his family farm with his parents and brothers.  Presley worked as a Welder doing various jobs around Arkansas.  He enjoyed hunting, wearing all black, his caps, and cowboy boots.  Everyone that knew him knew that he loved his family, children, and friends and that he had a heart full of love. 

Presley leaves to cherish his precious memories three Daughters – Vicky Oates Roberts, Karen Jean Johnson, and Felicia (Raymond) Thompson; three Sons – Pervise Oates, Doug Oates, and Victor Oates; two Sisters - Linda Coleman and Elfreda Virjena (Sylvester) Henry; seven Brothers – Kirks (Frankie) Oates, Cletus Oates, Jack (Linda) Oates, Tom (Lena) Oates, Danny (Bonnie) Oates, Emmitt Oates, and Gale (Charlene) Oates; a host of Grandchildren, one Great-Grandchild, other family and friends.
