Michael Nelson Sims, 56, was born on March 9, 1964 to Pearlie Mae and Norman Sims, Sr. in Ulm, Arkansas. He departed this life on Saturday, June 27, 2020 in Stuttgart, Arkansas.

He was well known around the community and loved helping others.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents Pearlie Mae and Norman Sims, Sr. and his sister Rose Sims Clingmon.

He leaves to cherish his love and memories his five brothers: Vernon Sims (Gina) of Tulsa, OK, Norman Sims, Jr. (Annette Reed) of Stuttgart, AR, Henry Sims (Eugunda Scott) of Stuttgart, AR, Dale (Virlene) Sims of Holly Grove, AR, and Kevin Whittmore (Ernestine Walker) of Stuttgart, AR; three sisters: Carolyn (Raymond) Bryant of Lonoke, AR, Brenda (John) Graham of Stuttgart, AR, and Sonda Sims of Stuttgart, AR; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
