Mary Trimble Obituary

Mary Johnson Trimble was born on April 15, 1931 to Richard Johnson and Jennie Jemerson Johnson in DeWitt, Arkansas. She departed this life on Sunday morning August 16, 2020 in the comfort of her own home.

Affectionately known as MaeLee, she accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age. She dwelled in different churches until she found her church home at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend Bryce Hollingworth. She loved TRMBC, especially under the leadership of the late Brother Bobby Brasfield. She became an over-active member; she joined the choir, the Mother Board, and many other duties alongside of the late Mother Roxie Luckett. TRMBC was known for their Prayer Breakfast. Mae Lee remained a faithful member under the leadership of Pastor Debra Burton.

Mary worked as a homemaker/ housekeeper for many families in the community for many years. She was also known as the town seamstress/ fashion designer. She was loving and caring to everyone she came in contact with. She was committed to every task set before her. She took care of anyone that came to her in need. MaeLee was a person of blunt direct conservation, but would always put a little love on it for those who got offended.

She was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Jennie Johnson; four sisters Lee Della Berry, Mary Jean Nichols, Velma Randall, and Jenell Caldwell; four brothers Wilbert Johnson, LB Johnson, Perlis Johnson, and John Johnson; one son Tony Caldwell; one daughter Mary Ann Caldwell; and a special son-in-law Thomas Wofford, Sr.

MaeLee leaves to cherish her loving memories two sons Richard Caldwell and Greg Caldwell, both of Stuttgart, AR; four daughters Barbara (Thomas) Hobbs, Josephine Wofford, Jackie Caldwell, and KaTanya (Lawrence) Jacobs Conway, all of Stuttgart, AR; twenty-three grandchildren Brenda Jones, Brian Coleman, Tanja Dickson, Tyrone Coleman, Stephanie Coleman, Stacy Coleman, Patrick Mills, Cassandra Mullins, Thomas Wofford, Jr., Gary Wofford, Shemeka Jordan, Tyiona Robinson, Brittany Caldwell, Dontrenell Robinson, Shawna Shackelford, Theodis Tillman, Jr., Kanisha Cox, Toney Hall, Jr., Andrea Williams, Aalia Williams, Kisha Caldwell, Deondra Johnson, and Traemon Caldwell; 56 great grandchildren; 29 great-great grandchildren; 22 great great-great grandchildren; one sister Blanche Jeffery; one brother Robert Louis Johnson both of Stuttgart; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
