Marie Lavern Hicks

Marie Lavern Hicks was born on October 5, 1936 to the late Robert Hicks and Lillian Dukes. On March 13, 2021 God called her home, a special angel.

In her leisure time, Marie enjoyed sewing, playing bingo, and making others look beautiful by doing their hair. She also enjoyed having fun with friends and loved ones.

Although Marie had no children of her own, she was a loving and devoted sister, aunt, and cousin. She was an amazing friend to whomever she came in contact with.

Marie confessed to Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert Hicks and Lillian Dukes, her two loving guardians James and Rosie Mae Hicks, four brothers Curtis Hicks, James Hicks, Jr., Leroy Hicks, and Otis Hicks, and nephew Robin Kennel.

Marie leaves to cherish her precious moments and memories one sister Eldonia Hicks of Stuttgart, AR; two brothers Albert (Janice) Hicks and Eugene (Della) Hicks, both of Kansas City, MO; one sister-in-law Janice Hicks of Stuttgart, AR; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
