Mackie Lee Wilson, of New York City, transcended on April 16, 2020. He was 77 years old.
Mackie was born to Wesley Wilson, Sr. and Lacyphine Peoples in Van, Arkansas on March 6, 1943.
Mackie graduated from Immanuel High School in 1961. He attended United States Army Aviation School and was an Army veteran who served in Vietnam from 1964-1967.

Mackie is preceded in death by his father Wesley Wilson, Sr., his sister Betty Lou Wilson Hickman and his brother Gary Wilson. His mother Lacyphine Peoples Wilson passed on May 11, 2020.
Mackie will forever be loved by those of us that he left behind. He is survived by his wife Bathsheba Sherrod Knockee; his children Zedekiah, Bashan, Shamakha, Shalomlak and Keith; his brothers Wesley Wilson, Jr. and Anthony Wilson; and his sisters Janice Wilson Norwood and Jacqueline Wilson Parrish. He also leaves much loved grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. We will all miss the joy and love that he brought into our lives and could not be prouder of him.
