LynnEdward Tolliver Obituary

LynnEdward “Pooh” Tolliver was born to Melvin Tolliver and the former Linda Kay Reed Tolliver on June 6, 1978. He professed a life for Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Calvary Church of God in Christ in Casscoe, Arkansas.

He departed this life and entered rest on Friday, April 10, 2020 at the age of 41. Pooh was raised and lived in Stuttgart, Arkansas until his passing. He attended Stuttgart Public Schools.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents LC and Della Mae Smith Reed, paternal grandparents LD and Rosie Lee Holt Tolliver, two brothers Melvin Tolliver, Jr. and Kormaine Tolliver, aunts Ruby Jewel Reed Sanders, Phyliss Jean Reed, Mildred Bones, and Tangela Tolliver, and uncle Lee Wayne Reed.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father Melvin Tolliver, Sr; mother and stepfather Linda and Timothy Batemon; one son Jordan Hogan; two daughters Kenzie Scales and Alexus Tolliver; brother Greg Simmons of Stuttgart, AR; great-great uncle George Smith, Jr. of St. Louis, MO; great uncle Clinton (Mary) Smith of Altheimer, AR; sister Raven Batemon; several cousins who were raised by his mother as his siblings Dewayne (Erin) Sanders of Lawrence, KS, Constance Sanders Burlison (Kenny) of Humphrey, AR, Michelle McCoy Givens (Wayne) of Pine Bluff, AR, Terrica Sanders, Tamatha Sanders and Taishay Jackson, all of Omaha, NE, and Troy Sanders of Stuttgart, AR; aunts Flora Jones (Charles), Brenda Miller, Evelyn Jeffery, and Linda Tolliver; uncles Willie Ray Reed, Patrick Tolliver, Sr., Milton Bones, Kenneth Tolliver, Antonio Tolliver, Dale Tolliver, Lincoln Tolliver, and Keith Tolliver; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, a special friend Constance Maronay, and his children’s mother Quawna Hogan.

Pooh never met a stranger. He loved his family and children. He would give you his last if needed. He was a kind hearted soul and will be truly missed.
