Louis Casey Obituary

Louis Casey was born October 26,1937 in Roe, Arkansas to the late George Casey- Grayson and Alice Brown Casey. Casey attended Clarendon School District.

He was united in holy matrimony to Willie Mae Dockery in 1967. In that union they gained two sons Cordel and Jerome Casey.

Casey was a man of many roles; he started working at an early age. He received his first job at Coker Hampton Drug Store in 1953. Shortly afterwards, he started working other jobs, such as Professional Pharmacy & Drug, later opening his very own club "Casey's CornDog". When talking to his former managers/friends, James Bethea stated, "Casey has delivered more healthcare medicine than any medical professional in the history of Stuttgart, Arkansas." Casey started his own business Casey & Sons Moving Service in 1975, which his sons will carry on his legacy.

He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings Mable Wilks, Ann Cross, Ruby Thornton, Bessie Dumbar, George Casey, Robert Casey, and Dan Casey.

Casey has one surviving sibling Hattie Humphrey of Detroit, MI.

Casey leaves his cherished memories to his loving and devoted wife Willie Mae Casey; four sons and one daughter Rudy Payne, Antony Silverman (Gaby), Cordel Casey (Tewanna), Jerome Casey (Teresia), and Reneakia Criner; three special grandchildren Raylen Cooper, Jasmine Walton, and Codi Casey; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Casey had several friends he could call on in his time of need, but he had two that came no matter what the circumstances were - Arthur McKinnley and Freddie Holt.
