Lonnie Warren Obituary

Lonnie Warren was born December 28, 1948 to David Warren and Carrie Sims Warren. He was the sixth child and second set of twins born to this union. On Friday, January 17, 2025, Mr. Warren departed this earthly life to his heavenly home. His parents preceded him in death.

Lonnie graduated from Holman High School in Stuttgart, Arkansas in 1967 after attending Immanuel School in Almyra, Arkansas, from first through eleventh grade.

In 1975 he wedded Kaby Williams, who had preceded him in death on March 4, 2015. To their union, they were blessed with three beautiful children: Shelly (Brian) Davis, David (Dorothy) Warren, and Chad (Michelle) Warren, as well as his adopted son, Jacob Warren.

Lonnie was highly regarded for his strong work ethic and dedication as a truck driver and hauler. He was affectionately known as “Mad Dog” by his peers in the trucking industry, where he gained widespread respect in the Stuttgart trucking community for his expertise.

Lonnie was baptized into the Christian faith as an adult and continued to grow in his faith during the course of his life. He was an avid football fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, loved listening to music, and one of his greatest pastimes was enjoying the open road in his meticulously maintained pickup trucks.

Lonnie Warren was preceded in death by two siblings Ulysses (Buddy) Warren and Jewel (Tootie) Brown.

Lonnie leaves to cherish his memories his four beautiful children; seven grandchildren; two brothers Johnnie Warren and McKinley Warren; five sisters Ruth Thompson, Jeraline Hall, Clara Warren, Elnora Dunn, and Pauline Edmondson; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.

He also leaves behind his loving and dedicated significant other, Ms. Florence Nance.
