Ms. Lisa Diane Terry was born on January 18, 1972 to Mr. Augusta Terry, Jr. and the late Mrs. Ruth Hill Terry in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She departed this life on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
She was the oldest of five children raised in a close-knit, loving family where she learned the values of Christian service and developed a work ethic grounded in family love.
Lisa was a graduate of Stuttgart High School, Class of 1990. She confessed a hope in Christ in her young adult life and joined Holy Benton Temple Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Superintendent Lawrence O’Neal until she transitioned to eternity.
She was a caring and loving person. She never met a stranger, always willing to help anyone in need. She was loved by many. Lisa did not allow her sickness to hinder her labor of employment, as she was an outstanding and dedicated worker. In addition, she had a love for her church. Whatever Lisa was asked to do, she never complained. She always had such a joyous spirit and kept a smile on her face, despite how she was feeling. She often said “the Lord will take care of me”.
After working at Kroger and McDonald’s, Lisa was employed at Dodge’s and Walmart until the time of her transition.
She was preceded in death by her loving mother Ruth Terry and grandparents Mr. Izo and Hazel Hill and Lorean and August Terry, Sr.
Lisa’s beautiful memories will forever be cherished by her three sons Jonathan Terry, Tony Terry, and Thomas Terry; one daughter Nellie Terry; father Augusta Terry, Jr.; five beautiful grandchildren Kaveren (KT) Terry, Amier Terry, Aamarie Terry, Ki’Ren Terry, and Deundrio ; one sister Lawanda (Lamont) Mozell; three brothers Reginald Terry, Frederick (Redeanna) Terry, and Augusta (GiGi) Terry III; two special nieces Victoria Terry (caregiver) and Kendrall Hill; two special great nieces Makayla McNeary and Aaliyah (Froggy) McNeary; one special aunt Flave Smith; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and a multitude of friends.
