Linda Jean Robinson-Qualls was born April 25, 1950 to the late Mary Lee and Eugene Robinson in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She transitioned this life on Monday, March 29, 2021 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas where she resided for over thirty years.
She had many interests throughout her life. Linda was baptized and accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late C.L. Benton at Benton Temple COGIC in Stuttgart, Arkansas and received teachings under Superintendent Lawrence O’Neal at Holy Benton Temple COGIC, also in Stuttgart. She moved to Pine Bluff, Arkansas and was a member of Tabernacle COGIC under the late Otis H. Richmond, Sr. in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Linda served faithfully in the hospitality department and had a heart for sports. She coached the little league baseball team, along with her sons. She was an excellent coach.
She received her education at Holman High School in Stuttgart, Arkansas, Class of 1969. Linda later became a certified nurse, working in nursing homes for many years. Because she had a heart for people, Linda provided excellent loving and nurturing care; she did not discriminate because of color, religion and/or background. Linda then worked for HDRS as a counselor, before retiring in 2010 after ten years of faithful service on the rehabilitation wing. Her family meant everything to her! Linda was just like her Mom, she had a love for people and she never met a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Lee Robinson, father Eugene Robinson, son Cedric Qualls, great granddaughter Vegas Qualls, niece Felicia Curtis, grandfather Willie Redic, grandmother Nancy Carter, and great grandmother Lottie Redic.
Linda is survived by her children Louis Robinson, Mary Greene Robinson (Mike), and Kevin Qualls, all of Pine Bluff, AR, Shonda Qualls and Eugenia Qualls, both of Little Rock, AR, Dennis Qualls, Jr. (Keeh) of Atlanta, GA, and Dennis Qualls, Jr. (Tamiko) and Denise Stewart Qualls (John), both of Chicago, IL; sisters Angie Mullins, Diane Kelley (Curlee), Violet Curtis, and Elizabeth Robinson, all of Stuttgart, AR; brothers Eugene Robinson, Jr. (Everlean), Willie Clifton Robinson, Freddie Robinson (Pamela), and Don Cox, all of Stuttgart, AR, Master Sergeant Samuel Robinson of Augusta, GA, and Thomas Robinson of Mariana, AR; aunt Ora Mae Robinson of Stuttgart, AR; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
