Lillie Mae Williams was the fourth of six girls born to Lucille and Robert Body on December 15, 1959 in Marked Tree, Arkansas. She transitioned on September 9, 2024.
She was incredibly generous; if she had something, you had it too. Throughout most of her life, she traveled across many states cooking. A highlight of her career was appearing on Day Break Channel 7 News, where her culinary skills were featured.
Lillie grew up in Chicago, Illinois and resided in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She had a deep passion for cooking and cherished hearing praise for her culinary skills. As a child, her brothers teased her about her cooking, which motivated her to perfect her recipes, including her biscuits. Lillie’s dedication paid off, making her a celebrated local figure for her cooking.
She had a passion for traveling but equally enjoyed staying home with family, entertaining friends, and watching her favorite Lifetime TV shows. She made it a weekly ritual to get her hair, nails, and toes done. She was an awesome mom, a loving sister, a caring aunt, and an all-around beautiful soul. Brave and courageous, she was also hardworking and easygoing.
Lillie married Leo Williams, and to this union three children were born Wyconda Williams, Wyakiety Williams, and Jamarco Williams. She later married Andy Ice. Before her passing, she cherished the companionship of her significant other, Jackie Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leo Williams, two children Wyconda Williams Ford and Jamarco Williams, grandson Jamarco Jones, sisters Betty West and Ora Sims, and brothers Emanual West and Robert Body.
Lillie leaves to cherish her memories her loving daughter Wyakiety Williams; five grandchildren Kyaleah Tolliver, Jae Shawn Williams, Jamani Williams, Lanashia Cole, and Traci Simmons; sisters Ann Jones, Janice Body Hogan, and Hollie West; brothers Johnny West, Walter Woods, and Clark Body; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She will forever be loved, cherished and missed and remembered by all.
