Lester Hogan, Jr. was born on February 12, 1950 to Lester Hogan, Sr. and Minnie Mae Hogan in Lookout, Arkansas. He departed this life on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family.
He attended Immanuel High School and Holman High School.
Lester was united in holy matrimony to Gloria D. Nunn on December 25, 1974. To this union one son was born, Lonnie Glen Hogan.
Lester worked for David Knoll, Eddins Welding, Producers, Riceland Foods, and Layne Arkansas. He retired from Layne Arkansas in 2014, after thirty-three years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Minnie Hogan, Sr., two sisters Peggy Lee Roby and Ella Mae Kibble, and one brother Perry Hogan.
Lester leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of forty-six years Gloria D. Hogan of Roe, AR; one son Lonnie Glen (Alicia) Hogan of Roe, AR; three grandchildren Trevan Hogan of Clarendon, AR, and Jaylon Hogan and Mia Hogan, both of Stuttgart, AR; three great-grandchildren Kaiden Hogan, Kingston Hogan, and Rachel J. Roberts; two brothers James Tolliver of Anoka, MI and Larry Hogan of Stuttgart, AR; three sisters Ulstene Hogan, Sarah (Ricky) Jackson, and Ronella (John) Grant, all of Dallas, TX; seven sisters-in-law Billie Burton, Sheron Davis, and Brenda (Eric) Rayford, all of Memphis, TN, Icrine Davis of Cheynne, WY, Margaret (Terry) Matthews of Kansas City, MO, Karen Davis of North Dakota, and Jackie Hogan of Stuttgart, AR; two brothers-in-law Eugene Scott Davis of Memphis, TN and Lynn Davis of Long Beach, CA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
