Mrs. Lacyphine Peoples Wilson, was born on December 12, 1923 to Cicero and Leona London Peoples in Ethel, Arkansas. She departed this life on May 11, 2020.
Lacyphine was the second of four sisters: Beatrice Phillips Qualls, Thelma Miller, and Gloria “Kat” Boyd. All preceded her in death. At an early age she attended St. John M.B. Church in Ethel, Arkansas with her family. She later became a member of Hill Chapel AME Church in the Morgan Settlement Community until it closed in 2012. She then became a member of New Zion UMC in Maumelle, Arkansas
Lacyphine was united in marriage to Wesley “Villa” Wilson and from that union seven children were born. Villa and three of their children Bettie Lou Hickman, Mackie and Gary preceded her in death.
Those left to treasure her memory include her sons: Wesley Jr. and Anthony Wilson; daughters: Janice Norwood and Jacqueline Parrish. She also leaves many loved grandchildren (21), great-grandchildren (33), great-great grandchildren (7) and lots of nieces, nephews, cousins and family friends.
