We cherish the memories of Kenneth “KT” Thomasson, 52, of Stuttgart, Arkansas. He transitioned on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
Kenneth was born to the late William Oliver Thomasson and Julia Ann McSwain-Thomasson. Kenneth’s name honored his late paternal grandparents Eric Hood Thomasson and Alton Lee Hudspeth, as well as his maternal grandparents Verge W. McSwain and Josephine M. Edwards McSwain.
In his youth, he attended the Stuttgart School District and later earned a GED to complete his education. As an adult, he was among the first employees at IAP and adapted to various industries, including working as a tire expert, at Tyson Foods, and alongside Dan Loudermilk, until health issues began to affect him.
Kenneth joined First Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. D. L. O’Neal and continued his Christian development under Dr. C.E. Hawkins, Sr.
Kenneth is now reunited in eternity with his daughters Tearra and Searra, as well as his wife Beverly Lusk Thomasson. He leaves his legacy behind with his daughter Simone Metcalf (Tammy) and his beloved grandchildren Madison Metcalf, Jacob Murrell, and Morgan Murrell.
He also leaves to mourn his absence his mother Julia A. McSwain Thomasson; the Thomasson siblings Adrienne, Anthony, Lance and Tessa; uncles Verge McSwain and James Thomasson; aunts Fannie Hill and Elizabeth McSwain; a dear friend Sharon “Shay Rock” Williams; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins whom he loved dearly.
