Kengie Rachard Burton was born on April 10, 1980 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Orlando and Gwendolyn Burton. He departed from this Earthly life on March 30, 2022 at his home in St. Louis, Missouri.
Kengie attended Stuttgart Public Schools from Kindergarten to the Eighth grade. He then transferred to Riverview Gardens High School in St. Louis, Missouri, where he became All State Offensive Guard with the Riverview Rams championship football team during 1998-1999. He graduated with the Class of 1999, receiving a four-year scholarship to Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Kengie was a very kind-hearted, friendly young man who loved to fish and hunt, as well as enjoyed watching his favorite team Indianapolis Colts. He loved his family and friends.
Kengie met the love of his life Jessica Flynn; they were married on December 21, 2005.
Kengie was preceded in death by his grandparents J.H. Chambers and Claudean Chambers Cutts, one aunt Lottie Rena Chambers, and many great uncles, great aunts, cousins, and other loved ones.
Kengie leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife of 17 years Jessica Burton of St. Louis, MO; parents Orlando and Gwendolyn Burton of St. Louis, MO; three brothers Orlando (Stephanie) Burton of Stuttgart, AR, Jamar (Tamara) Burton of St. Louis, MO, and Damon Burton of Biscoe, AR; one sister Keiara Sharde Burton of St. Louis, MO; grandparents Orlando Burton of Stuttgart, AR and Katie Burton of Marvell, AR; nephews Orlando, Darrian, AJ, Jalen, Aryon, and Christian; nieces Destiny and Taylor; great nieces Harmoni, Harmony Rose, and Allissa; seven uncles Albert Burton of Marvell, AR, Bobby (Vickie) Matthews and Alvin (Chrissey) Chambers, both of St. Louis, MO; Johnny (Debra) Chambers, Robert (Beverly) Chambers, and Willis (Shantail) Chambers, all of Stuttgart, AR, and Kenneth Chambers of Pine Bluff, AR; ten aunts Verna Burton of Marvell, AR, Shirley Flournoy of Jonesboro, AR, Beverly (Sterling) Chandler of North Little Rock, AR, Patricia Maskin of Atlanta, GA, Betty Delph of Flint, MI, Sandrel Delph Los Angeles, CA, Missionary Janice (Elder Steve) Mullins, Darlyn Chambers, and Sherbean Ann Albriton, all of Stuttgart, AR, and Monica (Ronald) Chambers of Pine Bluff, AR; two great uncles Author Lee Chambers and James Scaife, both of Stuttgart, AR; one great aunt Colav Chambers Washington of Little Rock, AR; and a host of cousins and friends.
