Joyce Yvonne (Gaither) Racy

Joyce Yvonne Gaither Racy was born on July 28, 1963 to Earnett and Mary Lee Hollinger Gaither in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She attended Stuttgart Public Schools (Class of 1981) in Stuttgart, Arkansas. 

She loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren and family, as well as cooking and talking on the phone. She was a member of Allen Temple Missionary Baptist Church of Stuttgart, Arkansas.  

Joyce married Floyd Rice and to this union two children were born, Domonique and Chelsea Rice. She later married Lorenzo Racy.

Joyce departed this life on June 22, 2019 in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Lee Gaither.

Joyce leaves to cherish her memory: husband Lorenzo Racy; father Earnett (Karen) Gaither; sons Domonique (Constance) Rice and Courtney (Sara) Gaither; daughter Chelsea Rice; three step-children Allen (Katrina) Racy, Mark (Erika) Racy, and Lester (Shandale) Smith; brother Mark Gaither; sister Carol (Dennis) Scott; grandchildren Demarian Rice, Domonique Rice, Jr., Destiny Rice, Jordan Rice, Devan Barrentine and Rashaud Bones, Jr.; special friend Sandra Hancock Flemming; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

She was loved by many and will be missed tremendously.
