Mr. Joseph A. Vanderbilt was born on July 1, 1977 to Ms. Janice Ragland and Mr. Lloyd Hopewell in Chicago, Illinois. He departed from his Earthly life on September 23, 2021.
He attended Stuttgart Public Schools and received his GED in Mississippi.
Joseph enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to Bob Marley, dancing, writing poems, traveling, and spending time with his family. He grew up with his cousins, as he was the only child. To love him was to know him. He never met a stranger. Joseph was the kind, respectable person who would give his shirt off his back to help out the next person in need.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Mr. Thomas James Fairow, Jr.
Joseph leaves to mourn his wife Echo Jones Vanderbilt of Holly Grove, AR; mother Ms. Janice Ragland of Stuttgart, AR; father Mr. Lloyd Hopewell of Chicago, IL; grandmother Ms. Emma Jean Fairow of Stuttgart, AR; step-daughter Jayda Smith of Holly Grove, AR; three aunts Mrs. Joann Fairow and Mrs. Francis Robinson, both of Stuttgart, AR, and Ms. Lashunda Fairow of Conway, AR; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Joseph was loved by his mother so much and will truly be missed.
