Jimmy Lewis Jackson was born on March 6, 1954 in Oxford, Mississippi to the late Jimmy Lewis Jackson, Sr. and Lina Mae Alford. Jimmy attended Oxford High School in Oxford, Mississippi. He later moved to Hazen, Arkansas.
“Booty”, as Jimmy was affectionately known, loved his family. He enjoyed attending gatherings with family and friends, dancing, and listening to music. He was the ‘life’ of the party and always enjoyed life to the fullest.
Jimmy departed this life on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory: one son Deneal Jackson; five sisters Linda Langhorn of Stuttgart, AR, Diane Wilborn of Pine Bluff, AR, Sammie (Larry) McGee of Hazen, AR, Veronica Mosby of Carlisle, AR and Juanette (Henry) Roberts of Stuttgart, AR; three brothers Al (Sharon) Langhorn of Little Rock, AR, Henry Langhorn and Marvin Langhorn, both of Stuttgart, AR; two aunts Minister Dessie Fox and Mildred Alford, both of Oxford, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
HE WAS LOVED BY MANY AND WILL BE MISSED TREMENDOUSLY
