Jimmy T. Brunson London was born March 14, 1972 in DeWitt, Arkansas to James Carl London and the late Rita Kay Brunson London Smith. Jimmy professed his hope in Christ at an early age at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Ethel, Arkansas under the leadership of Reverend Forrest Phillips.
Jimmy was a graduate of DeWitt High School, Class of 1990. He had a great love for football, baseball, and basketball, as well as music. However, his love for music outweighed everything. He started rapping and then was known to everyone as “Low”. At the height of his music career, he joined the organization known as ‘CRIP” (Community Revolution In Progress). During this era in his life, he helped many children with his giving spirit in the Wolfe Street community and surrounding areas. Low was a great loss to this community, which left a mark for him to be called ‘Legendary Low’, a Well-Known Rider of the streets of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Low’s legacy continue through his family: children Keelo (Keerisma, Keelontae, and Keenary) London, Ja’Kala (Micheal Cross, JaKobe Barnett, Micaela Marbley, and Rae’Van Gadssen) Bunche, Taheed London, Jaylon London, and Carlito London; siblings Aretha Bruno, Carla London, Tonya Betts, Henry London, Jerrick London, Quinton Smith, Lakai Smith-Petties, William Smith, and Breanna Smith; father James London; stepfather Henry Smith; aunts and uncles Restee Williams, James Williams, Elverlene Davis, Lee Brunson, Daniel Brunson, Jr., Curtis Brunson, Brenda Lewis, Alushia “Lisa” Robinson, Alton “AC” Brunson, Zada London-Bailey, Alice Tyler-Smith, Lonnie Tyler, Chris Tyler, and Linda Tyler; a very special nephew Darquise “Golden Boy” London; a Godson DeAndrae Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
