Mr. James Michael "Foxx” Murray, 63, of Stuttgart, Arkansas transitioned from his earthly home to his heavenly home on September 19, 2025. He was born on January 15, 1962, to James Murray, Sr. and Louise S. Hampton, and reared by Hosie Hampton in Humphrey, Arkansas.
James accepted Christ at an early age. He attended and graduated from Humphrey High school in Humphrey, Arkansas. After graduation, he began his long-term employment with Lennox Industries in 1981, where he worked faithfully until 2023, when his health began to fail.
He was a person that enjoyed being outside, whether it was gardening, feeding the birds and squirrels, or working in his tool shop building things. James frequently visited flea markets collecting and reselling treasures he found. He loved unwinding with his associates after work over a cold beverage, sharing a good conversation and laughter. His kind spirit will be missed.
James leaves behind a legacy that he was very proud of: four sons Marco Murray (Tina) of Little, Rock, AR, Brayden Murray (Drika) of Sherwood, AR, Malcolm Murray of Allport, AR and Jionni Murry of Little Rock, AR; two daughters Stephanie Robinson-Harper (Kendrick) of Cabot, AR and Monique Bradley of Stuttgart, AR; eleven grandchildren JaMarious and JaSean Harper of Cabot, AR, Brooklyn, Makyia and Boston Murray of Little Rock, AR, Hayden Murray of Sherwood, AR, Shardarcia and MoNecia Avery of Little Rock, AR, JaMarcus Murry of Orlando, FL, Kasey Murry of Alexander, AR, and Dhyzare Murry of Rowlette, TX; five sisters Linda Cline (James) of Humphrey, AR, Jacqueline Murray-Minor of Pine Bluff, AR, Wanda Dukes of Radcliff, KY, Carla Davis of Pine Bluff, AR, and Tracey King (Kevin) of Pine Bluff, AR; two brothers Donnie Hampton of Jacksonville, AR and Anthony James Murray of Los Angeles, CA; two great-grandchildren; his significant other Vickicia Bradley of Stuttgart, AR; one Godson Carl Holtgeerts; best friends Alvertis “Tate” Maholmes, Norman “Bug” Sims, and Kelvin “KG” Dolphin; two special nephews Terrence and Keonta Murray; and a host of other relatives and friends.
