JC McCoy was born October 24, 1938 to Ben and Lillie Burks McCoy in Stuttgart, Arkansas. He departed this life on March 29, 2024 at CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was baptized at an early age and later rededicated his life to Christ.
JC was united in holy matrimony to Betty L. Clingmon on March 20, 1992 and was married for thirty-two years.
He was a truck driver for over thirty years. JC loved cars, as well as antique shopping. He also enjoyed spending time with family.
JC was preceded in death by his loving parents Ben and Lillie McCoy, mother-in-law Addie Clingmon, father-in-law Douglas Clingmon, two sisters Myrtle Henderson and Emma Earnestine McCoy Simms, three brothers Ben McCoy, Jr., James L. “Buddy” McCoy, and Robert McCoy, one sister-in-law Carolyn McCoy, one son-in-law Horace Ware, and three children JC McCoy, Jr., Arnold McCoy, and Christopher Waller.
Precious memories will be forever cherished by his wife Betty McCoy; children Lela Mae (Wayne) Miller, Paula Jean Ware, Kenneth McCoy, Sr., Donald Ray (Veronica) McCoy, and Antonio Cole; bonus children Derrick Clingmon and Carlos Houston; siblings Paul (Louise) McCoy, AC McCoy, Howard Burks, Sr., Lillie Chambers, and Bertha (Albert) Walker; sister-in-law Mary McCoy; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
