Gloria Jean (Dodds) Nowden

Gloria Jean Dodds Nowden was born on May 21, 1965 to the late Alonzo Dodds and Jeweline Hunt Harris in Pickens, Arkansas.

She accepted Christ at an early age. She attended school in Tillar, Arkansas. Gloria enjoyed cleaning and spent most of her career cleaning homes. She also worked at Kinder Harris.

Gloria married Ardie Ray Nowden in the early years, and to this union four children were born.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother Robert Harris, Jr. Gloria departed her life on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Stuttgart, Arkansas.

Gloria leaves to cherish her memories her two sons Antoine (Renesha) Dodds of Pine Bluff, AR and Braylon (Sharde) Nowden of Jacksonville, AR; three daughters Wonda Nowden, LaRhonda Nowden, and Monique Nowden, all of Stuttgart, AR; thirteen grandchildren Ray’Shun Reed, Samuel Lindsey, Kenyetta Dodds, Za’Kyah Dodds, Corderro Berry, Antoine Dodds, Jr., Jemeya Cox, Braylon Nowdon, Jr., Zareyah Cunningham, Shaniah Harris, Imani Cunningham, Jemarion Cox, and Jemiah Cox; four sisters Dorothy Folk of Monticello, AR, Jacqueline (Rob) Wade-Young of Reed, AR, and Barbara Wade-Spurlock and Debra Hunt, both of McGehee, AR; two brothers Ronald (Brandi) Hunt of McGehee, AR and Staci Harris of Little Rock, AR; special friends ShaRhonda Jiner, James Smith, and Charles Berry; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
