Geraldine Hollinger Hill was born April 26, 1943 to Elmer and Earnestine (Cegars) Hollinger in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at Allen Temple Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained a member until her death.
Geraldine is a graduate of Holman High School. She worked at GTE Southwest Telephone Company for 22 years. She was the Church Clerk for Allen Temple Missionary Baptist Church for 32 years.
She met and married the love of her life Paul Hill, and to this union four children were born. Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Mary Lee Hollinger (Gaither) and Barbara Ann Hollinger, and God Mother Eda Mae Donaldson.
Geraldine leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband Paul Hill, two daughters Paula Hill (Smith) of Mobile, AL and Sonya Hill of Killeen, TX; one step-daughter Wilda (Calvin) Petty of St. Louis, MO; two sons Eric (Joyce) Hill of Memphis, TN and Cedric Hill of Little Rock, AR; one step-son Darrylee (Esther) Butler of Lubbock, TX; nineteen grandchildren Lakai Smith-Pettie, Quinton Smith, Eric Hill, Jr., Byron Hill, Erica Hill, Marcus Hill, Christopher (Melissa) Hill, Cedric Juan Hill, Wisdom Hill, Cedlantae Dabner, Desiree’ Wylie, Justice Rogers-Keaton (Malcolm), Reginald Rogers, Jr., Shalitha Butler, Mar’Lisa Butler, Tamara Thompkins, Patrick (Kristen) Tierney, Sierra Flowers, and Stephen Flowers; three step-grandchildren Steve Green, Jamar Green, and Lillian Green; fifteen great-grandchildren; three sisters Lovell Hollinger, Peggy Ann Hollinger Matlock, and Wanda Lee Cegars, all of Milwaukee, WI; one brother Elvin Hollinger of Flint, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
