Geraldine Betts was born September 1, 1952, in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the late James “Club” Betts, Sr. and the late Lizzie Lee Betts. She gained her wings on April 23, 2026 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Geraldine accepted Christ at an early age and later attended Bible Believers House of Faith under the leadership of Elder Steven Reed. She attended Holman High School in Stuttgart and went on to retire from Riceland Foods. Geradine traveled all over and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Affectionately known as “Rock Island Red”, she dearly loved her son, her grandchildren, and her family.
She was preceded in death by her aforementioned parents, two sisters Lizzie Mae Betts and Ollie Betts, and one brother Linnie Burns.
Geraldine leaves to cherish her memories one son Joseph Eurns; six grandchildren Javeon Eurns, Shuntionna Terry, Jawyan Terry, Joseph Eurns, Jr., Shania Eurns, Jakaylia Eurns, and a bonus granddaughter Makayla McNeary; two brothers James Betts III of Little Rock, AR and Rufus Betts of Stuttgart, AR; four sisters Flora (William) McPherson of Stuttgart AR, Vanessa Betts of Oxford, MS, Janice Betts- Dabner of Little Rock, AR and Armer(Lawrence) Burns of Grand Blanc, MI; two aunts Lucy Cooperwood of TX and Norma Cooperwood of Brinkley, AR; one uncle David Betts of Kansas City, MO; a special niece Annie Hogan who took care of her affairs; nieces Cynthia Willamson Hicks, Kimberly Dabner, Liz Wofford, Lawren Anderson, Joygena Johnson, Martha Green, Shonna Penn, Monica Fields, and Sharon Williams; nephews Venal Sims, Albert Betts, Khalid Prime, William Mcpherason, Jr., and Jerrick Frye; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, family and friends, along with her special friends Ada Jean, Ruthie Noble, Linda Kay Dunn, Ednora Dunn, Deloris Betts, and Henritta Billings who will miss her dearly.
