Gearline (Jerrie) Johnson

Gearline Johnson was born on December 20, 1943 to Jasper and Alberta Stephens in Stuttgart, Arkansas. She departed this life on September 14, 2020 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Affectionately known as Jerrie, she attended Holman High School in Stuttgart, Arkansas.

She retired from Riceland Foods after 30 years of dedicated service. Jerrie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was a member of Allen Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Stuttgart, Arkansas.

Jerrie was married to the late K.C. Johnson. She had a love for growing plants, as well as for animals, especially her dog Mr. Charlie.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jasper and Alberta Stephens, son Reggie Pendleton, sisters Georgia Mae, Martha, and Bessie Mae, and brothers Charlie, Elvis, Lloyd, and Walter.

Jerrie leaves to cherish her memories granddaughters Varanda (Charles) Robinson of Lawrenceville, GA, Jo’Elle Jamison of Covington, GA, and Constance Napoleon of Memphis, TN; great grandchildren Sania Robinson, Kelcey Christopher Robinson, Eliah Robinson, Phoenix Robinson, and Charlie Rose Robinson, all of Lawrenceville, GA, Sylvia “Elyse” Cottrell and Desmon Gaines, both of Memphis, TN, and Kason Jamison and Joshua Duffey, both of Covington, GA; daughter-in-law Robin Pendleton of Stuttgart, AR; one sister Mary Page of Gillett, AR; two brothers O.C. Rone of California and Louis (Laquita) Rone of Salt Lake City, UT; sisters-in-law Linda Rone of Memphis, TN and Virginia Rone of Chicago, IL; a special nephew Eddie Kennedy; the Chambers family; family friends Joyce Hill, Travis Buerkle, and Bert Buerkle; a special friend Kalvin Armstrong; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
