Mrs. Edna Mae Davis, 83, of Stuttgart, Arkansas was born on May 1, 1937 to the late Robert Jones, Sr. and Ardella Brice in Wabbaseka, Arkansas.
She departed her life on February 15, 2021 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Stuttgart, Arkansas. Edna confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Allen Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Stuttgart, Arkansas, where she served on the Usher Board under the leadership of the late Reverend G. H. Wade.
Edna was employed with Producers Rice Mill for over thirty years, until she retired in 2000. She enjoyed drawing, putting puzzles together, spending time with her grandchildren, and making people laugh, even during her sickness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two aunts Ruth Brice and Airre Brice, two grandchildren Kile Davis and Demetric Ackles, and a very special cousin Geneva Nichols.
Edna leaves to cherish her memory two sons George (Pam) Davis and James (Rochelle) Davis, both of Stuttgart, AR; one daughter Earline Davis of Stuttgart, AR; fifteen grandchildren Keith Davis, Kirk Davis (her caregiver), Kimberly (Kirk) Davis-Hughes, Clarence Davis, Chris Davis, Gavin Davis, Keanan Davis, Romelo Guydon, Eric Smith, and Emauri Smith, all of Stuttgart, AR, Brent Davis, Briana Davis, and Brittany Davis, all of Little Rock, AR, Sadie S. Thomasson of Charleston, SC, and Tangula Bell of St. Charles, MO; twenty-five great grandchildren; one brother Robert Jones, Jr. of California; and a host of other relatives and friends.
