Eddie James Walker

Deacon Eddie James Walker was born October 16, 1936 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Willamena and William Walker, Sr.

He was united in holy matrimony to Florence Amos. Deacon Walker accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior on July 6, 1996 at Faith Fellowship Church of God in Christ in Memphis, TN, under the leadership of Elder Albert Ware. He later transferred his membership to St. Paul Church of God in Christ in Clarendon, Arkansas, under the leadership of Elder McArthur Dismuke.

On December 6, 2020, Deacon Walker departed this life at Baptist Health Medical Center – North Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents Willamena and William Walker, Sr., two brothers George Walker and William Walker, Jr., and two sisters Barbette Walker and Laura Mitchell.

Deacon Walker leaves to cherish his memories his wife Sister Florence Walker of Clarendon, AR; one brother Robert Lee Walker of Los Angeles, CA; two sisters Willamena Patton of Memphis, TN and      Deloise Luellon of Memphis, TN; three stepchildren Eric Amos of Clarendon, AR, Tasha Amos of Little Rock, AR, and Derrick Amos of Denver, CO; thirteen grandchildren; a close friend Elder Albert Ware of Memphis, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.
