Dorsey Edward McKinley Perry

Dorsey Edward McKinley Perry was born on November 26, 1935 in Altheimer, Arkansas to the late Helen Eurins and Amos Perry. He departed this life in the afternoon hours on February 20, 2022 at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Dorsey attended Rosenwald School in Humphrey, Arkansas during his childhood. He attended Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Humphrey, where he confessed his life to Christ at an early age. Dorsey was a member of Allen Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Stuttgart, Arkansas until his decline in health.

On December 3, 1955, Dorsey married Annette Kibble, and to this union three children were born. Dorsey was employed at Riceland Foods for several years. He was later employed by Hartz Seed, where he was a supervisor for many years until his retirement.

Dorsey was preceded in death by his wife Annette Kibble Perry, raised like one of his own Barbara Fitzpatrick, one grandchild Shantay Mitchell, one sister Rebecca Akins, and one brother John Perry.

Dorsey leaves to cherish his memories his children Myron (Patricia) Perry of Pine Bluff, AR, Mildred Johnson of Stuttgart, AR, Floretta (Aaron) Scott of Pine Bluff, AR, Manuel (Audrey) Combs of Fresno, CA, and Vanessa Jordan of Sherwood, AR; three brothers Joseph (Marcella) Eurns of Meridian, MS, Raymond Austin of Stuttgart, AR, and Theodore (Annette) Lee of Stuttgart, AR; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.
