Mr. Donald Ray Woods, Sr. was born September 11, 1952, in St. Charles, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Paul Edward Woods, Sr. and Mattie Lee Callahan-Woods.
At an early age, Donald accepted Christ as his personal Savior under the leadership of Pastor F.R. Reams at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in St. Charles, Arkansas.
Donald graduated from St. Charles High School in 1970, where he was a proud member of the Wildcats basketball team. He loved to brag about the time his team played Holman High School in Stuttgart and beat them.
He married Martha Ellen Releford and to this union one daughter and three sons were born.
Donald enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren whom he cherished dearly. He loved to dance, crack jokes, and bring laughter wherever he went. One of his favorite sayings was "All Night Long," a phrase that captured his fun-loving spirit.
He worked as an operator at Producers Rice Mill in Stuttgart until his retirement. Donald then worked at Scott’s Manufacturing until he decided he was done.
Donald departed this life on August 5, 2025 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Stuttgart. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Martha Woods, one son David Releford, one grandchild Jhamelah Drone, and five brothers Steve Callahan, Sr., Johnnie Woods, Wesley Woods, Charles Woods, and James Woods.
