Deborah Rose (Chandler) Dukes

Deborah Rose Chandler Dukes, age 71, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2022 in the comfort of her home. She was born September 3, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Jerry, Sr. and Mildred Chandler. She was the youngest of two children.

Affectionately known as Debbie, she professed her love for Christ at an early age at First Baptist Church Highland Park. She later joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church. She loved reading her Bible and helping others.

Debbie was a 1969 graduate of Horace Mann High School and thoroughly enjoyed attending her class reunion events and visiting with her classmates.

Debbie is survived by her three children Bobby J. Dukes II, Jerry Chandler Dukes, and Tamara (Clinton) Thomas; three grandchildren Taylor Thomas, Clinton Thomas, and Dallas Thomas; her best friend Patricia Weems; and a host of other relatives and friends.
