Obituary

Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 7:10pm after a long illness at VA Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, the Lord called to rest Darinell Minor.

Darinell Minor, the eighth of ten children, was born to Evergreen Minor on September 1, 1961 in Ethel, Arkansas.

He attended St. Charles Public Schools and graduated in 1980. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. After returning home to Stuttgart, Arkansas, Darinell met and married Delores McCastle on December 13, 1987. And to this union, they were blessed with one daughter Courtney Minor.

Darinell was one of a kind. He was a hard worker and loved his family. Everywhere he went, he was the life of the party.

He was preceded in death by his mother Evergreen Minor, grandparents Leslie and Rosie Minor, and three sisters Margaret Ann Hicks, Jean Ann Davis, and Gwendolyn Bell.

Darnell leaves a legacy of love to cherish his memory, a wife Delores Minor of Stuttgart, AR; two daughters Courtney Minor and Aryia Minor, both of Stuttgart, AR; two stepdaughters Delores McCastle of Stuttgart, AR and Victoria Hadley (Gerry) of  Arlington, TX; two granddaughters Terriana and Terri, both of Stuttgart, AR; three sisters Fannie Brow Lee of Toleda, OH, Amy Jo Butler (Ray) of Ethel, AR, and Donna Burtrain of Stuttgart, AR; three brothers Jerry Minor (Mary) of McGhee, AR, Mickey Minor and Mark Minor (Stephanie), both of Toledo, OH; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends; and a special childhood friend Howard Woods of Little Rock, AR.
