Remembering the Beautiful Life of a Beautiful Lady

Departing her life on July 17, 2023 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, Crystal LaShaye was the daughter of the late Roxie Ann and Thomas Luckett. She was born March 26, 1979 in Little Rock.

She was united in marriage to Otis Langhorn. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Crystal confessed her hope in Christ at an early age at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Stuttgart, Arkansas, under the leadership of the late Brother Bobby Brasfield. She later joined First Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Reverend C.E. Hawkins, Sr. in Stuttgart, where she served faithfully until her transition.

Crystal was a graduate of Stuttgart High School, Class of 1997. She was a licensed Cosmetologist, being the proud owner of Anointed Hands’ Beauty Salon. She loved her clients dearly and spoke of them often. In addition, Crystal was the owner of Luckett’s Special Touch, LLC through Lennox Industries. She assisted various people to gain employment through her company.

She had a great sense of humor. Crystal was known for mimicking and impersonating people with perfection. In accordance to making others laugh, she also had a unique way of making everyone feel so special. Crystal was a strong supporter of many ministries throughout Stuttgart and the surrounding areas. She utilized her voice and talents to uplift the name of the Lord every opportunity she received. She instilled her talents of her love of music and song to her youngest daughter Chloe.

Crystal shared a bond that was built in love, understanding, and unwavering support for her children. Despite life’s challenges, they stood by each other offering solace and encouragement during their greatest time of need. Crystal adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them; their memories with her will last throughout their lifetime.

She was preceded in death by her mother Roxie Ann Luckett and her father Thomas Luckett, Sr.

Crystal leaves to cherish her memory, one son LaMarian Da'Quan Luckett of Stuttgart, Arkansas; two daughters Trinity LaShaye Luckett and Chloe A'Lee Luckett, both of Stuttgart, Arkansas; five sisters Carolyn (Freddie) Taylor, Cindy (Paul) Rucker, Coz (Jeffrey) Robinson, all of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Cathy (Herman) Reid of Bryant, Arkansas, and Ann Smith of Stuttgart, Arkansas; six brothers Herman (Marblene) Carroll of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Johnny (Valerie) Carroll of Lonoke, Arkansas, Robert (Belinda) Carroll and Willie Carroll, both of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Thomas (Sandra) Luckett of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and Wendell Bovan of Stuttgart, Arkansas; and four grandchildren Zane, Zachary, Haisley, and Heidi, all of Stuttgart, Arkansas. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
