Charlie Noble, Jr. was born on March 18, 1953 in Casscoe, Arkansas. He was the second of thirteen children born to the late Charlie Noble, Sr. and Easter Mae Browley Noble. He peacefully departed this life early Friday morning, June 27, 2025 at the age of 72.
Charlie, affectionately known to all as C.J., grew up in Casscoe and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He also had a love of cars and travel. He attended Immanuel School and Holman High School before graduating from Stuttgart High School.
Charlie served five years in the United States Navy aboard the USS El Paso, where he completed many important missions. He was also able to fulfill his love for travel by visiting many countries around the world, including West Africa, Haiti, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. As a civilian, he relocated to Norfolk, Virginia and performed engineering work on the Naval Base and Naval Shipyard.
Charlie accepted Christ at an early age and attended Mt. Calvary Church of God in Christ in Casscoe. He reaffirmed his faith later in life.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, one brother (Glen Amos) and one sister (Grace Helen).
Charlie leaves to cherish his memory: one son (Daryl Noble of Las Vegas, NV); five grandchildren (Kacey, Starr, Shamar, Chanice, Daryl Jr.); five brothers: John Noble of Stuttgart, AR, Kavis Noble, Timothy Noble, Troy (Gail) Noble, and Elijah Noble, Sr., all of Little Rock, AR; five sisters: Gloria (Henry Sr.) Dabner of Casscoe, AR, Maud (Oscar) London of Stuttgart, AR, Delphine Noble of Little Rock, AR, Shevonya Noble of Oakland, CA and Bonita (George Sr.) Promisee of Jacksonville, AR; uncle: John Wesley (Helen) Noble, Jr. of Little Rock, AR; aunt: Robin Noble of Chicago, IL; special friend: Doris Wilson of Milwaukee, WI; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
