Calvin Gene 'CG' Smith, Jr.

Calvin Gene ‘CG’ Smith, Jr. was born on April 19, 1985 to the union of Debora Hardimon and Calvin Gene ‘PeeWee’ Smith, Sr. in Stuttgart, AR. He was the youngest of four children.

CG received his formal education in the Stuttgart Public Schools. While attending school, he began working at Dixie Furniture Store as a delivery driver. After graduation, he worked at Producers and Lennox Industries until his death.

Calvin Gene ‘CG’ Smith, Jr. departed this life on Saturday, September 1, 2018. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Leslie ‘Sonny Boy’ & Mary Jean Nichols and Wilson & Alice Smith.

His favorite pass time was spending time with his children, family, second family 5th Gear Motorcycle Club, and barbequing. Whenever an event was being planned, CG was the suggested cooker to cook the meat. He always bragged about how good and tender his meat would be, while it fell off the bone.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two children Aliyah and Calvin III; parents Debora (Larry) Hardimon and Calvin ‘PeeWee’ (Deborah) Smith, Sr.; two sisters Sharon Nichols and Yolanda Anthony, both of Little Rock, AR; one brother Lester (Shandale) Smith of Lancaster, TX; four stepsisters Sharonda (Errick) Davis, Alicia Doyle, Carmen Okereafor, and Darkisha Hardimon; five nieces Charlitha, Talea, Sydney, Kaamilah, and LaPrecia; seven nephews Charles, Marcus, Hakeem, Jalique, Jamaica, Kerrium, and Kaamil; three great nieces Amari, Ayriauna, and Ke’Niya; motorcycle club family 5th Gear Motorcycle Club; Lennox Industries; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
