Life’s work well done. Life’s race well run. Now he rests.
The ‘Sunrise’ of Aubrey Dale Johnson began on February 24, 1963 in Ethel, Arkansas. He was born to the late Verloris and Allie M. Johnson.
His ‘High Noon’ was the potent portion of his active life. He attended public school in St. Charles, Arkansas and graduated high school in 1981. After graduation, he took up farming and worked on the Johnson farm with his dad, later with Cecil Vansandt, then Monte McKewen, and later Bob Bisswanger, until his health failed him.
Aubrey had a passion for farming, gardening, and yard work. He loved being outside fishing and hunting.
He was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life Brooke Jenkins on November 21, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Charles Johnson, Marvin “Hot” Johnson, Manuel Johnson, and Billy Wayne Johnson, and one sister Gwendolyn Johnson Britt.
Aubrey united with Greater St. John Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Rodney Cohns in February 2022.
