Ardina Jones Obituary

A Beautiful Soul Anchored In Christ

Ardina Jones was born on June 29, 1975, and peacefully entered eternal rest on June 1, 2026. Throughout her life, Ardina was known for her warm spirit, compassionate heart, unwavering faith, and the genuine love she shared with everyone she encountered. She never met a stranger and had a unique gift for making others feel welcomed, valued, and loved.

At the age of eight, Ardina accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at Allen Temple Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Reverend Wade. Her faith remained the foundation of her life, guiding her decisions, strengthening her through life’s challenges, and inspiring the kindness she so freely extended to others. She was a true God-fearing woman whose devotion to Christ was evident in both her words and actions. Ardina attended Stuttgart High School in Stuttgart, Arkansas, where she formed many lasting friendships and memories. She carried with her a strong sense of community, family, and service that remained with her throughout her life.

More than anything, Ardina was a devoted mother. Her greatest joy was her daughters, Consuelo Monique Butler and Constacion Monae Humphrey, whom she loved unconditionally and supported wholeheartedly. Ardina’s nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family. She was often described as “a mother to everyone she met,” offering encouragement, wisdom, comfort, and love to countless people throughout her life.

Those who knew Ardina will remember her for her generous heart, infectious smile, soft spirit and willingness to help anyone in need. She found joy in uplifting others and never hesitated to lend a listening ear, a comforting word, or a helping hand. Her kindness left a lasting impact on family, friends, neighbors, and all whose lives she touched.

Ardina cherished her family deeply and treasured the relationships she shared with those closest to her. She was blessed with a special friendship and companionship with Clinton “Clyde” Payne, whose support and presence brought joy to her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved brother and sister, Anthony Dewanye Jones and Asherly Lashae Jones, and maternal grandparents, Bessie Mae, and Eddie Jones, paternal grandmother, Emma Jean O’neil.

A special part of Ardina’s story was the loving care she received from her aunt, Lillie “Doll” McCoy, who helped raise her. Aunt Doll’s love, wisdom, and dedication provided a strong foundation for Ardina’s life, helping to nurture the faith-filled, caring, and compassionate woman who would become a blessing to so many.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her loving daughters, Consuelo Monique Butler and Constacion Monae Humphrey; her mother Catherine Jones, her siblings, Shuntal Maria Rodgers and James Lamont McCoy; her cherished grandchildren, Caleb Isaiah Stigger, Chloe Isabell Butler, Cainen Imad Hampton, and Clair Ivy Hampton; her significant other, Clinton “Clyde” Payne; and her lifelong friends, Lucille Graham, Shundresa Johnson, and Janice McNeil, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure the love, laughter, faith, and beautiful memories she leaves behind.

Though Ardina’s earthly journey has ended, her legacy of faith, compassion, strength, and

unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her life was a testimony of God’s grace, and her memory will remain a blessing to generations to come.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

May she rest in eternal peace.
