Angela Kay Amos was born on April 1, 1961 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Joe Amos, Jr. and Lorene Brice Amos Coppreal. She transitioned from time to eternity on Friday, June 25, 2021 in Providence, Rhode Island.
She graduated from Stuttgart High School, Class of 1980. She then attended Job Corp. Shortly after, Angela moved to Providence, Rhode Island and married. To that union, two children were born – Emmanuel and Emily.
Angela later returned to Stuttgart and worked at Riceland Foods. After receiving her Certified Nursing Assistance (CNA) license, she was employed by Crest Park Nursing Home, as well as several other nursing home facilities within Arkansas. Additionally, she worked at Walmart.
As a young girl, she attended Benton Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late C.L. Benton.
She was preceded in death by her father Joe Amos, Jr., mother Lorene Brice Amos Coppreal, and nephew Michael Walker, Jr.
Angela leaves to cherish her loving memory her son Emmanuel (Kormasa) Amos of Providence, RI; daughter Emily Awopeju of Providence, RI; one granddaughter Emiola Amos of Providence, RI; five sisters Joann (Tyrone) Jordan of San Diego, CA, her twin Marilyn Ray Amos Smith of Dallas, TX, Jerriella Amos and Stella Amos Bledsoe, both of Stuttgart, AR, and Claudette Amos Walker of Alexandria, VA; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and friends.
