Alonzo “Young Blood” Bishop passed away on May 21, 2025. He was born on December 10, 1939, in Cornerstone, Arkansas, to the late Sam Bishop, Jr. and Margaret Crumpton Brooks.
Alonzo was a warm-hearted man who never met a stranger. He was loved by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Bonnie J. Parrish; and his brothers Dorsey L. Brooks, Jr. and Lester T. Brooks.
Alonzo leaves to cherish his memory one daughter Kim Griffin of Detroit, Michigan; two sons Terry Bishop and Eugene Bishop, both of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters Dorothy J. Harmon and Juanita (Larry) Burks, both of Little Rock, Arkansas; and a very special caregiver, Karron “Sue Sue” Billings of Stuttgart, Arkansas.
