Alfred Lee Langhorn was born on January 3, 1958 in Oxford, Mississippi to the late Samuel Langhorn and Lina Mae Alford. Alfred attended Oxford High School before moving to Hazen, Arkansas, where he excelled in sports, including basketball and track.
After high school, Alfred enlisted in the Arkansas National Guard and later worked for the Arkansas Highway & Transportation Department, both of which he later retired. He loved his family, friends, and music.
Alfred departed this life on Sunday, January 26, 2020 in Stuttgart, Arkansas. He leaves to cherish his memory: ex-wife Sharon Langhorn; one son Allen Langhorn; three daughters Shannon Langhorn, Jennifer Langhorn, and Anisha Brooks (Victor), all of Little Rock, AR; eight grandchildren Ryanne, RJ, Mia, Fisher, Xavier, AJ, Vannah, and Amari, all of Little Rock, AR; five sisters Sammie (Larry) McGee of Hazen, AR, Juanette (Henry) Roberts and Linda Langhorn, both of Stuttgart, AR, Diane Wilborn of Pine Bluff, AR, and Veronica Mosby of Carlisle, AR; two brothers Henry Langhorn and Marvin Langhorn, both of Stuttgart, AR; two aunts Minister Dessie Fox and Mildred Alford, both of Oxford, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
