Easter Mae Noble

January 24, 1932 ~ November 21, 2017 (age 85) 85 Years Old

Easter Mae Noble, born January 24, 1932 in Casscoe, AR, was one of seven children born to the late Edward Browley, Sr. and Maud Owens Browley. She peacefully departed this life on early Tuesday morning, November 21, 2017 at the age of 85.

Mother Noble was married to the late Charlie Noble, Sr. for 55 years. To their union, 13 children were born.

She accepted Christ and joined church at an early age, and her love for Christ was evident throughout her life. She became a church Mother at the young age of 32, and served willingly and faithfully as one of the original church mothers for many years at the Mt. Calvary Church of God in Christ.

As a child, Easter attended Blue Wing School in Casscoe and Immanuel School in Almyra. She was an avid housewife for years before becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant in the ICU at Stuttgart Memorial Hospital. Later, she worked as a private caregiver.

Affectionately known as G-Mama to family and friends alike, Easter was a people person who never met a stranger. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and prided deeply in her family both near and far. She was a beacon in the local community and took on numerous roles over the years. Mother Noble was a great historian and orator, and over the years, she regularly recited poems, gave speeches, and provided family history at events. A woman of many talents, she was also a seamstress, cook, avid photographer, and poet. In addition, she had a great love for travel.

Mother Noble was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one son (Glen Amos), and three brothers (Clint, Curtis, and Willie Lloyd).

She leaves to cherish her memory six sons: Charlie Noble Jr., John Noble, and Timothy Noble, all of Stuttgart, AR, Kavis Noble, Troy (Gail) Noble, and Elijah Noble, all of Little Rock, AR; six daughters: Gloria (Henry Sr.) Dabner of Casscoe, AR, Grace Noble of Pine Bluff, AR, Maud (Oscar) London, Delphine Noble, and Bonita (George) Promisee, all of Stuttgart, AR, and Shevonya Noble of San Mateo, CA; one brother: Edward Browley Jr. of Chicago, IL; two sisters: Ruth Harris and Mildred (James) Turner of Chicago, IL; one brother-in-law: John Wesley (Helen) Noble Jr. of Little Rock, AR; four sister-in-laws: Ruby Browley of Stuttgart, AR, Tomacell Mars of Muscle Shoals, AL, Delmarie Noble of Gillette, AR, and Geraldine (Earl) Fields of Detroit, MI; 22 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and special friends.
